Halton Skills Olympics

The Halton Skills Competition is an annual event where students from the Halton Catholic District School Board and the Halton District School Board compete in more than 40 technical skills areas including:  architectural computer-assisted design, auto collision repair, auto service technician, baking, cabinet making, carpentry, character animation, culinary arts, desktop publishing, electrical wiring, floristry, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), graphic design, hairstyling, home building, Internet web page design, landscape gardening, mechanical computer-assisted design, photography, precision machining, restaurant services, TV/video production, and apparel design.
 
This year E.C. Drury High School will be hosting the event on April 11th 2007. For more information about the Competition contact Gary Dacosta or Mike Druiven at E.C. Drury High School.
